Words are Frogs
The Day My Little Brother Turned Into A Dinosaur
What can I say?
It was a great day
He suddenly started to roar
He grew a claw
1, 2, 3 the 4!
His bottom turned into a tail
His skin became like the shell of a snail
Then he started biting the sofa
Then he ate the toaster!
Next he went on a rampage
Dad said let's put him in a cage
Grandadda said let's put him on the stage -
And charge money
Everyone will find a dinosaur little brother funny!
Paul Lyalls spent a year as ‘Poet in Residence’ at the Roald Dahl Museum. He has been selected to be a London Olympic Poet and had poems included in Michael Rosen’s ‘A-Z of the very best children’s poetry’.
